The new job is making it hard to blog, but I am trying!!
In June, we headed north, flying into Recife.
A short drive from there and we entered the province of Ipojuca in the state of Pernambuco, Brasil. Porto de Galinhas is known for its sugar cane plantations and the beaches have been voted number one in Brasil many years in an row!
After driving through the city, we entered what seemed to be swamp land, equipped with cow crossing signs.
We arrived at our resort: Vivá Porto De Galinhas. With six different pools, beach, two restaurants, a balcony with hammock, the boys were in heaven.
The boys jumped in the pool and we enjoyed a few Caipirinhas.
The beach was beautiful and HUGE!
Nighttime involved exploring and taking photos!
While the pool may have been a little too cold for me, the boys did not mind it at all!
We even found time to work out! The hotel was smart, in my opinion. The game room was right next to the workout room.
Some of the food that we ate.
Zane loving the fresh octopus and the boys can never have too much coconut water!
All the fresh juice you can drink!
Each item was labeled for allergies! Made eating very easy for Zane!!
Mom and dad had to take some time to do some work one day. The boys grabbed there tablets and joined us!
Beach time fun. You could walk out so far and the water did not pass your knees. The tide was huge though, highest that I have ever seen. The boys loved playing on this beach.
We took an excursion on a jeep like car. The boys loved it and I was hanging on for my life!
First stop took us to a beach that had tide pools and rocks that could be access my swimming or walking. The boys saw so many bright colored fish!
Second stop took us right by the actual port. A huge barrier had been created to as a wave break. It was another beautiful spot to explore.
The Recife airport has a viewing area. You can stand and watch all the planes on the runway. The boys really enjoyed this part.
Another place I would love to visit again, especially in the warmer months!
So pretty!
