We extended an invite to some friends that have been so very helpful to us during our time here. We got the Traeger ready and planned a menu. They were eager to try some of our American cooking.
On the menu:
Stuffed Mushrooms
Spicy Shrimp
Roasted Vegetables
BBQ Chicken
S'mores
They were fascinated by the grill itself and repeatedly got up to check it out. Very different from the Churrascos used here. I think they enjoyed the food, even though it was unfamiliar to them.
After enjoying food, we all jumped in the pool (though it was still chilly) and the kids had fun.
The kiddos prepared the S'mores for us!
Overall, it was a fun day. The kids play well together even though there is a language barrier.
